So a lot has been happening lately which is why I’ve been too busy, okay maybe just too lazy, to post! :) Here’s a recap of the last few weeks at our house:
First off ~ I’m headed for trouble, not only do I have a husband who thinks ketchup is required at every meal, but I have a daughter who loves it, plain or with food! Now I also have a little boy who although not allowed to eat it yet (at least by his momma) he is showing signs of loving the red stuff as well:
On Friday, June 24th, we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and Micah surprised me by taking me golfing and out to eat ~ just the 2 of us! Most of the area golf courses were busy with tournaments but we were able to golf on Hull’s course which was fine with me - although it brought back many memories of golf practice from high school! It was a beautiful day but at one point a brief rain downpour popped up so we were thankful we’d opted for a cart with a canopy! :)
Almost every year when we were kids for as far back as I can remember my parents celebrated their anniversary (June 22nd) with their good friends the Bottemas (who also have their anniversary on June 22nd) and the Sterks. Both couples live in Michigan so for the last few years my mom hasn’t been able to see them like she used to. This year, however, they drove out for a short weekend so we were able to spend some time with them as well. (They have always been like Aunts & Uncles to us) Alexa & Logan both LOVED meeting them too! Here’s a picture of Gary Sterk with Alexa & Logan. :)
Logan has developed the ability to keep himself entertained & finds himself spending a good deal of his time on the living room floor surrounded by toys! :)
