Here are some pictures of his 3 month photo shoot ~ this year I had my sister Sarah take them instead of going somewhere expensive & I was very pleased with the results! :)
By the start of December Logan was already turning towards our voices, smiling, & even giggling! :) We started the month out with Christmas parties & snowstorms and by the end of the month Logan had grown by leaps & bounds! At his 2 month check-up Logan weighed 12 lbs & 2oz ~ the exact same weight Alexa was when she was 4 months old!
This Christmas was extra special to me because although it was the 2nd Christmas without my Dad around, it was the first Christmas that my entire family was able to be together to celebrate the day! My brother Jon flew in from North Carolina, my sister Anne & her family drove down from Wisconsin & my brother Joel was already staying at Sarah’s house.
We had a blast opening presents and spending time with both our families ~ I think the kids really enjoyed it too! ;)
So you’d think that with staying home I’d become more faithful about posting regularly right? Oops! So the next few posts will be my way of catching up the last 5 months! :)
October went rather fast adjusting to having two kids in the house! By the time Thanksgiving rolled around Logan had already gained weight & was up to 8 lbs 2 oz. He’d already had his first cold & was doing a great job of sleeping through the night ~ from about 9:30-10pm until 6am! :)
Thanksgiving was spent with Micah’s family & even Coby was able to fly in from California. We had Holly & Eric’s wedding that Friday, Saturday was the whole Schouten family get-together at Dordt & then on Sunday we had Logan’s baptism.
The month really seemed to fly by & before we knew it Christmas was approaching!
