Logan Eric joined our family on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:07 pm. Despite the dramatic entrance & difficulties of his first few days we are all thriving and doing great & couldn’t be happier to be spending time as a family at home!

The surgery room only had one blue blanket & the rest were pink so he had to have one of each to stay warm!

We were allowed to start rooming-in with him after I arrived on Saturday so it was really nice not having to scrub in & out of the NICU each time we wanted to hold him:

On Sunday afternoon Mom Fennema, Alexa, Mom & Dad Schouten, and Jill & Jena came up to see Logan

His set up in our room – with the portable heart monitor that would sound an alarm anytime his heart rate changed out of the “normal” range – ended up going off a lot during the night as it wasn’t very reliable – so much fun! :)
